President Trump has suffered a series of stunning foreign policy setbacks this week.

Donald Trump said Putin is not looking to get involved in Venezuela, days after Mike Pompeoaccused Russia of propping up Maduro’s government.

“We’d prefer a peaceful transition” from the socialist rule of Nicolas Maduro, the secretary of state says.
