Ohio’s U.S. Senate candidates took the national stage Tuesday to tackle issues as the competitive race nears the finish line.

While the GOP deals with unpredictable races in states such as Pennsylvania, Republicans hope Ohio will show up for Senate candidate J.D. Vance.

Survivors can seek relief through the Boy Scouts bankruptcy settlement, but Ohio law currently prevents them from recovering the full amount.

Monday’s event was the first of two debates the candidates agreed to participate in after weeks of back and forth over scheduling.

Harris said the verdict “speaks for itself” during a Friday visit to Columbus, Ohio, where she promoted the newly-signed infrastructure law.
