The University of Kansas forcefully objected to charges that its men’s basketball and football programs had committed significant violations.

Saturday’s game was the first between the two programs since a late-game brawl marred an 81-60 victory for the Jayhawks on Jan. 21.

Despite some foul trouble, Udoka Azubuike anchored a Kansas frontcourt otherwise depleted by suspension in the No. 3 Jayhawks’ win over Tennessee.
