A lawsuit by former New Mexico State men’s basketball players against the university, coaches and former teammates, has been settled.

For the first time since filing a lawsuit against New Mexico State, former basketball players Deuce Benjamin and Shakiru Odunewu spoke publicly.

Quarterback Diego Pavia went 17-for-29 for 167 passing yards and two TDs plus 65 rushing yards in New Mexico State’s 24-19 win on Monday.
